Labour and the Law
*Call For Papers*

The stream 'labour and the law' focuses on how law might be used to inform and pursue strategic objectives in protecting and empowering workers and promoting the value of work under conditions of globalised production, and the consequent weakening of national systems of regulation. It invites the re-deployment of political and democratic categories in the sphere of work and the use of critical theory to resist the multitude of ways in which managerialism, flexibilisation, game-theory, or the 'ethical turn', collapse democratic thinking into the modalities of the market and fail to deliver justice and dignity to those who work.
